The Rainy River First Nations (RRFN) Trust is pleased to announce the approval of the RRFN Brighter Futures: COVID-19 Member Relief Fund project submitted by the community.
Both the Trust and RRFN understand the impacts of the global pandemic and are aware of the challenges that many Members are facing financially because of COVID-19 .
The RRFN Brighter Futures: COVID-19 Member Relief Fund, will be an enhancement to the current Brighter Futures program administered by the RRFN and funding from the Trust will supplement the existing funding provided to the community from Health Canada. Through the approved Trust project application, the RRFN will be enhancing existing programming to provide funding support for Members 18+ years of age, who can apply for up to $400, to off-set costs in areas such as mental health, food, clothing, bills, or online learning.
Members are encouraged to completed the application form and submit it to the RRFN for processing.
